As we all know that Mr. Rahul Gandhi is in Madhya Pradesh for youth congress membership programme and I am surprised to read his statement in which he equates RSS with SIMI. According to him congress party is the party which is only for people who do not support ideology neither of RSS nor of SIMI. We will discuss about this later lets first compare between RSS and SIMI. Let’s put some light on some facts about SIMI. The Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI which is a banned organization and proscribed under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
It is an Islamic fundamental organization which wanted to convert India in to Islamic state by using force or violence. This organization believes in establishing sharia based Islamic rule in India by mobilizing youth and involving them in terrorist activities. For the kind information of Shri Rahul Gandhiji SIMI does not believe in secularism as well as Indian Constitution. According to the ideology of SIMI Nationalism, Democracy, Secularism are against Islam and we all know these are the three things which prevails in our country and our constitution is based on it. Not only this according to the SIMI, Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden is an outstanding example of a true Mujahid, who has undertaken Jihad on behalf of the 'ummah'(Muslim brotherhood).SIMI was closely associated with organizations like Hizbul mujahiddin, jammat -e-Islam units of Pakistan and bangladesh, lashkar-e-toiba, ISI and as we know all these organizations are enemies of our country which are responsible for all the terror plots in our nation.
So basically SIMI is an organization who was hell bound to destroy peace and harmony of our country, who is responsible for creating communal discord between our own countrymen and who consider Osama bin Laden as a true believer of Islam and respect him as an 'Islamic Hero' .According to my view any sensible person will consider organizations like this as a terrorist organization or organization involved in promotion of militancy and will consider members of this organization as anti national elements who are enemies of India. Now let’s discuss about the other organization which is known as RSS.Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh or National Volunteer organization. The name itself depicts that this organization works on the ideology of nationalism. Have you ever heard about the indulgence of RSS in any anti national activity? I think everybody will say a big no to this question but there are some people who are misguided about RSS.So in order to clear their views let’s find out what this organization is all about?Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh is an organization which was founded by Dr keshav baliram Hedgewar in the year 1925 to protest against british imperialism. Since that time RSS volunteers have participated in many social and political movements for the betterment of nation.
There are many organizations like Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Ekal vidyalaya, Bhartiya Kisan Sangh, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Vidya Bharati, Seva Bharati who are working under the banner of RSS for the development of socially deprived and economically poor countrymen. It is involved in various social reforms like it has promoted training of dalits to work as a temple high priest which is a place generally reserved for the Brahmin society .There is nothing such as casteism in RSS .Let me describe you one incidence when Mahatma Gandhi visited one RSS camp at wardha and later on he commented "When i visited the RS Camp. I was very much surprised by discipline and absence of untouchables .
RSS has always worked in the favour of society .RSS volunteers are famous for their relief and rehabilitation work during natural calamities (Gujarat earth quake, Tsunami, Orissa cyclone and many more) and for running more than 1 lakh service programmes in Education, health care, rural development, tribal liberation, village self sufficiency and the rehabilitation of disable children. Not only this right from Land reform (Bhoodan Movement) ,Rashtriya swayamsewak sangh has participated in Liberation of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Goa,India- China war of1962 and were also involved in protecting Sikhs during 1984 anti sikh riots .So this organization seems to have done work for the welfare of nation and can be declare as a patriotic organisation.But then also people are equating RSS with SIMI it’s just like equating a patriot and an antinational which is not at all fair in the view of a common Indian. Before I put a full stop to this discussion let’s take in to account Mr. Rashid Alvi Honourable Member of Indian National Congress .He commented on the day of VIJAYDIWAS (day of kargil martyrs) that "Kargil is not a thing to celebrate. The war was fought in our territory.
We didn’t even come to know when the Pakistani army crossed and built bunkers inside our territory. It’s only the NDA which can celebrate and on top of that other leader of Congress party Mr. Shri Prakash Jaiswal didn’t even know when the kargil war was fought and won. So before making such irresponsible comments Mr. Rahul Gandhi should think first and should not utter something which is totally irrelevant. Last but not least a responsible and sensible human being can easily differentiate between nationalist and antinationalist organizations
